Some beautiful families... just in time for Christmas!!

We have met some beautiful families this year, and these two families just add to our list of awesome clients!! So lucky to be able to capture the love and laughter that they share on a beautiful Sunday spring morning....

Mrs J has been a wonderful teacher to Judd this year and it was lovely to meet her family!

And the ever beautiful O family met us for their almost annual family portait session! Such a beautiful day and so lovely to be able to see your beautiful children grow up!

We were asked to do a fashion / portfolio shoot for Miss D and we were so lucky to capture this amazingly beautiful young lady who just was so much fun! Such a beatuiful afternoon - when you add beauty, laughter, cute sunshine, vintage trains and a few dress and hair changes you get this....

So much fun, lots of laughter and an amazing day all round!

Christmas is Coming - So is SUPER FUNDAY SUNDAY!!!

Wow, what an amazing year it has been! With the weeks leading up to Christmas being totally crazy, Sue and I sat down over an awesome glass of red and decided to try something a little different this year... What we came up with was Super Funday Sunday!! and its this coming Sunday the 13th November 2011!!

Telethon Fundraiser - Something close to our hearts....

Exciting things are happening at Timeless Memoirs!! Portraits and weddings galore and to add a little bit of love to our lives, Cathy Mills at the Harvey Waroona Reporter has had a fabulous idea to raise money for Telethon and has asked us to sponsor the Childrens Photo Competition being run in the local paper!!

What a wonderful idea and what a fantastic cause!! When you think of Telethon you think of Princess Margaret Hospital - and all the beautiful little kids and babies that it helps, saves and treats in a year....

On a personal note, when my baby boy Cruz was born he had a very rare (1 in 3 in the whole world!) type of hemangeoma (birthmark), so we spent a bit of time at PMH trying to work out exactly what it was, what we should do, if he would be OK and how the best way to treat it.... REALITY CHECK!! I will never forget a certain feeling that I got everytime I left PMH.... It makes my heart hurt a little and I felt like I had won the lotto. First division at that. Here I was taking my baby home, with me, not sure what the diagnosis was or what the outcome would be, but I got to take him home and I knew that he was going to be OK... I knew that they would know
soon what it was and I knew that apart from an operation he would be alright...

I had seen a few little kids who werent so lucky and it really is something that I believe no parent or child should ever have to experience, it absolutely broke my heart!! The things we worry about sometimes are so silly, just go and sit in the waiting room at PMH and it sure puts things, life, everything into perspective. So when Cathy asked us to jump on
board, the answer was definately ABSOLUTELY - What do you need!!

We would love everyone to enter their beautiful babies and kids in this competition and we look forward to having an extra special shoot with the super star winners!!

Everytime I drive past PMH, I cant help but send as much love as I can to all the people inside, all the parked cars at the front visiting their beautiful children or family members, being as thankful for everything I have in my life and I remind myself of what is important in life....

I was lucky enough to be at Patterson's Stadium on the weekend to see the Eagles amazing win over Carlton and as I sat there, I hoped that the atmosphere and excitement could be felt from their little hospital beds just up the road and that their cheers (a
long with mine!) had inspired the Eagles to get over the line xxx
